She co-writes a monthly column "Ask the Coach" for the Salem Business Journal answering questions about creating greater business and life results through purposeful leadership. She also co-created and shares her coaching expertise with the Salem Chamber's Leadership Salem Professional Coaching program.

Lori is a graduate of Western Oregon University in public policy and administration with a concentration in human resources and a minor in business. She is also a graduate of Leadership Salem, American Banker’s Human Resource School and earned her national professional human resource (PHR) designation from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) in 1995. She is a member of the Salem Chapter of SHRM and has held numerous leadership positions with the organization including President. She is also a member of NW Coaches Association.

Lori's personal time is spent enjoying her home with her husband Bob and dog Jasper in Oregon where she spends time connecting with friends, family and community causes; exploring the beautiful landscapes of Oregon; creating art in her other business, Lori Cegon Photography (yes, the home page is a sample); world travel and experiencing life through their new granddaughter's eyes.
